Before the time of Firestar and Bluestar, yet after the Lion and Tiger clans game the gathering of the fire kittypets and the start of the five clans of the forest.
In the beginning there was five kittypets who longed for something more that just a laid back easy life for them. They where constantly wandering around. Finally they gathered the courage to leave their nests. Side by side they walked across the roaring tar trail. Screaming monsters roared by making them jump back slightly. Nervously they crossed and continued on into the forest. Further and further they went deeper into the forest when they came upon four huge trees. Amazed by the size of the trees the five cats sat and stared at them. All but one who wandered off and found a huge rock in the middle. Leaping utop the rock she stared around. Orbs wide and full she took in the sight. Instinct awoke within the she-cat and something took over. Leaping down she named each of the cats. But not normal names but the names of warriors. Petalclaw, Rainsong, Sanddune, Icewing, and then she stopped. The others to began to feel the instinct.
They returned to their homes and as soon as they returned the instinct left. Feeling the loss of the instinct that they craved the cats went back to the massive trees. After staying one night they realized they knew nothing about catching their own prey. So once again they returned home. Their they honed their stalking and swipes and one even practiced fishing. How smart they had become. Their stays at their nests became shorter and the stays at the trees became longer. Soon their owns disowned them all together. Finally they where on their own. But the instindt had returned and this time it was stronger. Now they didn't have owners to fall back on. And they became territorial. Branching further apart from each other they started clans and lured other cats to join them. All but one the she-cat who had unleashed the burden upon her fellow felines. Saddened she tried to warn them and tried to take them back to their homes. But they lead rebellions and she became the first one to join another clan. The clan that roamed the stars. Watching upon the others she began to lay down a code that all should follow in order to live in her forest.
But bloodshed was only the beginning the burning desires in the cats became worse and grew until it consumed their souls.
And more joined the clan in the sky. Soon though the instinct began to die down and more cats grew calm and the clans lived in peace. But what will happen when it returns to taunt the clans once again?
